Hi - Well this last month has been pretty busy. It's hard to believe we're nearly halfway through the year already. So here we go!

On the plus side May saw the publication of a new James Bond novel by Anthony Horowitz and there's a new James Bond cookbook by Edward Biddulph. But on the downside were the accusations by a number of women about Cary Fukunaga being a sexual predator.

We also have Danny Boyle finally talking about his reasons for quitting Bond 25, the article on No Time to Die's Jamaican locations is now free to view and there's a new article on the additional music in No Time to Die available currently to Patreon subscribers only.

News

We recently reported on comments made by Danny Boyle’s long term writing partner, John Hodge, regarding their sudden exit from the 25th James Bond film back in August 2018. Now Danny Boyle has broken his silence. The Trainspotting director talks about how the producers lost confidence in his vision for Bond.

No Time to Die is the first James Bond film to be released in the MeToo era and made a point of steering clear of many of the elements that many found troublesome. At the time of release director Cary Fukunaga was praised by Lashana Lynch for his approach to the women in the film. But now the director of Bond’s #MeToo metamorphosis is accused of multiple misdemeanours.

Bond fans with a culinary bent will be thrilled by Edward Biddulph’s latest 007 cookbook, Double-O Dining, which incudes more than 100 recipes. Double-O Dining takes you on a culinary journey through the James Bond books and films to uncover the secrets of the food that the world’s most famous fictional spy and his companions and adversaries eat during their adventures.
