Hi

It's been a busy month in the world of James Bond, with filming for Skyfall taking place in Pinewood and at various locations in and around London.

And there was some great news for anyone who's been waiting for the remainder of the films to be released on Blu-Ray, with a 50th Anniversary boxed set to be released in October to coincide with Dr No's original release.

James Bond Blu-Ray Box Set released in October 2012:

A James Bond box-set featuring Blu-Ray versions of all 22 of the James Bond films in 50th Anniversary packaging is available to pre-order now for delivery in October. Bond is back-around Godalming as filming for new 007 blockbuster begins locally:

Skyfall cast and crew have arrived at Elstead, near Godalming, according to an article published by Godalming People. The shoot is shrouded in secrecy security staff claiming that trucks were for use by the army. Shaken Not Stirred – The Vodka Martini:

I have been putting off writing about the Vodka Martini, the most prominent of Bond’s drinks and a cocktail that gave birth to the most famous bar instruction of all time: “Shaken, not stirred”. The Vodka Martini is a variation on the original Dry Martini, which, in turn, is descended from the Manhattan.
