Before that though, what about Bond 25?
Well, there is still no official work regarding progress, casting, directors or anything else at all. Unofficially there is a rumour that Guy Ritchie is in talks to helm the next Bond movie. While I refrain from reporting every single rumour that makes the mainstream media, this one does seem like it might have an element of truth.
Secondly, Callum McDougall, who worked as executive producer on all Daniel Craig's Bond movies and is very much a right hand man of Eon bosses Barbara Broccoli and Michael G Wilson, told the BBC that they are hoping for Daniel Craig to return as 007.
I've said it before, but it stands repeating: if Eon deliver a good script to Craig then he may very well return.
Okay, today's announcement.
It arrived too late for the main newsletter, but earlier today Ian Fleming Publications announced that Anthony Horowitz is to write another continuation novel with original material by Ian Fleming.
Currently untitled, the book is due for spring 2018. "Trigger Mortis" was a massive success and many fans thought it was the best recent continuation novel, so fantastic news. You can read more about that announcement here.
That's all for now, see you here next month!
