James Bond News: đ¸January 2018
Published: Tue, 01/02/18
Happy New Year! I hope you had a great Christmas and greeted the arrival of 2018 with some serious Bond style.
So... what can we expect Bond-wise this year?
With Bond 25 due to hit our screens in November 2019 we should start to see some solid news about progress throughout this year.
Look out for news on The James Bond Dossier as we report confirmed news as well as sifting through the tabloid nonsense and report on the credible rumours. Don't forget as well as the website you can follow us on Facebook and Twitter.
As well as news on the next Bond film we'll also be reporting on Anthony Horowitz's second continuation novel. We know the first draft is complete and it is due to be published some times this year. As soon as any further info is known I'll let you know.
When there is any really big news I'll email you direct to let you know, otherwise I'll continue to send out the monthly newsletter on the first Tuesday of each month.
One last thing...
As a true fan of 007 you'll already know about MI6 Confidential magazine and maybe already subscribe. If you're not already a subscriber you might want to think about signing up for the entire 2018 season.
The annual subscription gets you all 5 issues for the price of 4, delivered to you directly by mail. Imagine some glossy 007 goodness dropping through your mail box 5 times a year!
It's a beautifully produced magazine with great photos and some excellent articles (full disclosure: I sometimes write for MI6 Confidential).
And with a variety of articles about films old and new (and those that never happened), interviews with cast and crew, as well as delving into the books, it covers a wide variety of Bond related topics.
So if you're a serious fan of 007 and if you're interested in reading more about the world's most famous secret agent you can subscribe for the entire 2018 season now.
OK, that's all for now. Unless there is any big announcement beforehand I'll be back in your inbox in February.Â
See you then!

PS Don't miss the special offer pricing on MI6 Confidential magazine. You can sign up for the complete 2018 season of five issues and pay for just four plus delivery.

MI6 Confidential, the full-colour magazine celebrating the world of James Bond 007, returns with its forty-third issue. Twice is the only way to live, and this year marks the 50th anniversary of âthe big one.â Following up the record-breaking success of Thunderball was always going to be a daunting task.
While James Bond is mentioned while Smersh hatches a plot to discredit the British Secret Service, itâs not until chapter 11 of From Russia, With Love that 007 is properly introduced. Waking in his flat off the Kongâs Road, Bond finds himself bored with the prospect of the day ahead.
Barbara Broccoli speaks at length about working on the 007 films and Bond 25. Bond co-boss Barbara Broccoli doesnât often speak publicly so when she does itâs worth taking notice. Sheâs just recently spoken at length to THR Podcast, in which she discusses her experiences working on the Bond films.
Bond continuation author announces on twitter his second Bond novel is finished.

This weekend we learnt the news that Albert Moses passed away earlier in the year at the age of 79. The Sri Lankan actor Albert Moses, who appeared in two James Bond films, died in London in September. Moses moved the the UK in the 1970s, where he mainly worked inn television.
A look at the locations in Ian Flemingâs fifth 007 novel. By the time we finally meet James Bond in From Russia, With Love heâs bored with âthe soft lifeâ. Heâs at home at his flat off the Kingâs Road and dreading the thought of another day at headquarters as he finishes his breakfast.Â
