Hi - Well, the heatwave that blasted Europe managed to avoid me. Bbut now summer has arrived and so I'm doing what I do every August. That means spending as little time in front of my computer and as much time as I can on the beach.

But I can't let August go by without the monthly newsletter, so here I am at the keyboard, typing furiously.

So, this month we reveal the latest bits and pieces we've learnt about Bond 25; look at 007 Elements; and take a look at the latest issue of MI6 Confidential

But we open with a short video from Amsterdam shot at locations used in Diamonds Are Forever.

On location

Back in May I was in the Netherlands for a couple of days, with slightly more than a day in Amsterdam. While there we did as much sightseeing as possible, including a couple of locations from Diamonds Are Forever.

Just to warn you, the video was shot as an experiment. It's designed to disorientate and so there is a good chance you'll hate it. I'm not going to explain beyond pointing you to this and this - which gives almost nothing away at all!

Although I was invited to the preview, I wasn't able to attend. However you can read a report on MI6 here.
