Hi - Location filming for No Time to Die continued in Italy until late September but it seems like they've now finished there as they complete the last month of shooting.

So much footage came out of the shoot in Matera that I stopped looking. It started to become a little crazy.

So now we're back to more normal levels of news from No Time to Die as they finish the film. And it's now just five months or so before it hits the big screen. I can hardly wait!

So this month I'll cover a few news items from No Time to Die, there are a couple of things about Bond 26 as well as a various other bits and pieces for you. I hope you like it.

And don't forget about Global James Bond Day on 5th October (Saturday).

I think there's a good chance we'll see a teaser trailer for No Time to Die released to coincide with that, either on Friday or on the day itself.

No Time to Die

While the second unit was shooting very publically in Italy since August, Daniel Craig was conspicuous by his absence. However, finally in September he joined Cary Fukunaga and Léa Seydoux for a photoshoot in Matera soon after arriving in Italy at the weekend. 

While there were lots of unofficial photos and video footage released online of the second unit at various locations across Matera, Eon Productions only released a couple of photos of Aston Martin DB5 stunt cars in mid September.

Members of the team working in Matera celebrated the end of shooting at a local restaurant and bar. Daniel Craig was there to celebrate.
 

 

Bond 26

Reports emerged recently that Disney has inked a deal with Pinewood Studios to take over almost all the facilities for a decade. Three television studios and the underwater stage are the only stages excluded from the deal. But what happens to Bond 26 with a Pinewood-Disney deal?

Writing in the Daily Mail, Baz Bamigboye reported that the producers want Phoebe Waller-Bridge for Bond 26. He says people involved in filming No Time to Die are “happier than I’ve known them in years” because of her involvement.
 

Other Bond news

Back in May Aston Martin announced they were releasing a limited edition version of the DBS Superleggera to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of On Her Majesty’s Secret Service in 1969. Now Omega has got in on the act, announcing a limited edition OHMSS watch, even though George Lazenby wore a Rolex in the film! 

Speaking to the Radio Times recently, Anthony Horowitz revealed that he is in discussions with Ian Fleming Publications about writing a third Bond novel.

Secret Cinema’s London run of Casino Royale is coming to an end this weekend. The final showing will be on 6th October and fewer than 50 ticket still remain at the time of writing. However, if you missed it, all is not lost. It was announced that their production of Casino Royale is headed for Shanghai in November.
