Hi - what an exhausting year 2020 has been.
Back in January we were all looking forward to the release of a new James Bond film but at the back end of the year we don't really know when we will actually see it.
Sure, it's scheduled for April. But both Cary Fukunaga and Barbara Broccoli have admitted that it may have to be delayed again. It will depend on whether we have further waves of covid-19, which has to be likely, and how fast the vaccines can be rolled out across the population.
That's enough about that, let's get to some Christmas cheer.
007 Gift Guide
Once again The James Bond Dossier has compiled a handy 007 gift guide for you. It may give you an idea or two for yourself or others and even has a handy email reminder. It's an easy way to drop a hint to your loved ones!
James Bond News
Probably the biggest news of the month was IO Interactive's announcement that they are working on new James Bond video game. It’s been quite some time since
007 has had a video game release and so the news has got a lot of fans excited.
A couple of books have just been released to help ease the suffering of Bond fans deprived of a new film. 50 Greatest Bond Cars is
published by Hero Collector, the publishing imprint of Eaglemoss and covers not only Bond's cars but those driven by his allies and enemies.
And 
Mark Edlitz delves into some of the more uncharted corners of the 007 universe in his new book, The Lost Adventures of James Bond.
MI6 Confidential
I think it's pretty fair to
say that MI6 Confidential had their content plans ever so slightly disrupted this year. So it's no wonder that they've been running a little late with the five issues for the year. Issue #57 is just out and covers the women of the 1980s and #58 is due out shortly.
James Bond & Friends podcast
The latest episodes of James Bond & Friends are now available on Apple Podcasts and elsewhere. You can listen to the most recent episodes below:
These are fun to record and the response has been hugely positive. Although I didn't manage to do them all, the watchalong episodes have been interesting to do as each person involved with the podcast brings a different perspective.
So that's all for the time being. We're all living through difficult times and for most of us the holiday period is likely to be very different from what we're used to.
