Hi - Looking back to January's newsletter I see that I predicted No Time to Die would be pushed back to November or to 2022.

It wasn't long after that we got the announcement that it's new release date is now 8th October, but it really wasn't much of a stretch to predict April wasn't going to be feasible, as I discuss here

In the video I talk about why I think 2022 is a more realistic date.

By the way, I'm planning to put out a YouTube video every Friday. If you want to keep up to date visit my YouTube channel and hit subscribe!

2020 was a hard year in many respects, including the death of Sean Connery, Diana Rigg, Honor Blackman, Peter Lamont and too many more.

Unfortunately 2021 has started out the same way. In a film series that is approaching its 60th anniversary it has to be expected. But that doesn't mean we shouldn't mourn people whose work has meant so much to us all.

Last month I reported on the fiasco surrounding the announcement of Tanya Roberts' death, which was then retracted. Sadly she died soon after

After Tanya Roberts' death  came the news that Michael Apted had died at his home in Los Angeles at the age of 79.

Then came the news that Rémy Julienne was in hospital suffering from covid. The stunt driver, responsible for the car stunts on six James Bond movies, sadly died in hospital shortly afterwards.

News

As mentioned above, the big news of the month concerning No Time to Die was the announcement of yet another delay due to the pandemic. The film has been pushed back to October 2021.

The move was widely expected but the move was signalled in advance when three new listings in the 007 Store prior to the delay being announced were listed with autumn delivery.

At the beginning of the month I interviewed four musicians for James Bond & Friends who together contributed to the 2020 album of James Bond cover songs, 'Not From Where I’m Standing'.

Moke America announced a partnership with Eon Productions as the company revealed details of its first 007 edition electric Moke.

Forbes reports MGM has held exploratory talks with Amazon about a sale but hopes of $10 billion price tag are fading. We'll have to wait and see if these talks go anywhere. If so, what will that mean for No Time to Die?

That's all for now. I'm be sure to let you know if there are any major announcements regarding No Time to Die or anything else related to 007.

Otherwise I'll see you in your inbox on the first Tuesday of March.

Stay safe and see you then!
